Community Trust seeks new funding partner
Foodstuffs (South Island) Community Trust
Major funding partner needed
Foodstuffs stands WITH its communities
The Foodstuffs (South Island) Community Trust is committed to
supporting people across the South Island. We have funds available
now for the right organisation.
We continue to help the South thrive by injecting hundreds of
thousands of dollars into schools and education, sports clubs and
small community organisations from the local scout group to hobby
and recreational endeavours.
Over and above this, we periodically ask for larger organisation
which has acommunity- based benefit right across the island to put
themselves forward as our major funding recipient.
This is a 2-3 year funding partnership starting in 2020.
Currently we work alongside the St John Friends of the Emergency
Department (FEDs) programme supporting their volunteers in the
valued work they do. As this funding comes to a close - is
your organisation a good match for us?
This is what we are looking for:
- A charitable or community organisation which brings
community-based benefit to people in all parts of the Island - you
must be able to show us the positive impact you have on communities
- from Bluff or Takaka and every place in between.
- While you might be a national organisation, if you can show us
that all the funding you receive will be used within the South
Island, we are interested in hearing from you.
- Tell us what you will use the funding for.
- We want to know what your main goals are in the next 3-5 years,
and how you plan to achieve them. How will the funding assist with
this?
- We need to understand that you have a robust management and
accountability structure in place, with full accountability and
which demonstrates to us how these funds are having maximum impact
in the community.
How do we apply?
If you believe that together the Foodstuffs Community Trust and
your organisation can make communities better - then this is what
we need you to do:
- Prepare an Expression of Interest for Funding which addresses
each of the 5 points above - Your application must not exceed 800
words. We are after a high-level outline of who you are, what you
do, how you do it and the impact you have.
- Your Expression of Interest must reach us by Friday 31
May, 2019. Email your Expression to
us.
From this, we will select a small handful of organisations to
make a presentation to the Trust Board on 12 August, 2019 in
Christchurch.
